Serving the community since 1973.
The Nolensville Volunteer Fire Department was founded as a community action project of the Nolensville JAYCEES in 1973 with 20 charter members. That same year, we also purchased our first pumper, a John Beam Hi-Pressure Fog Unit on a 1969 Ford F-700 Chassis. The truck was housed in a private garage until members built the first fire hall in 1974, behind what is now Nolensville Auto Care. We remained in, and expanded, that station until we moved into our present location in 1991.
Currently, there are 37 active volunteer firefighters on our roster and one paid captain from Williamson County providing fire protection to approximately 12,500 citizens and answering some 600+ calls for service, the majority of which are medical in nature. We remain dedicated to providing compassionate, competent care to our neighbors in their time of need. We thank you for your support. Without your donations, we couldn’t do what we do!
When a person becomes a firefighter, their greatest act of bravery has been accomplished. What they do after that is all in the line of work.
To protect the lives and property of our citizens and visitors of our community through education, prevention, and mitigation.
